Sporty Futuristic Lamborghini Insecta Carbon Fiber Concept Inspired by Insects

The Sporty Futuristic Lamborghini Insecta is a concept car design, created in 2009 by Iulian Bumbu, a Romanian designer who in 2008 completed the Transportation Design Master Course with Alfa Romeo at the Scuola Politecnica Design (SPD) in Milan. The body features the geometric styles of the modern Lamborghini vehicles, but with an exoskeleton-based twist. The Sporty Futuristic Lamborghini Insecta is a mid-engined two-seater, which its size is similar to its LP560-4 brother with the same 5.2 liter V10 552bhp engine. The Insecta concept, as the name suggests, was partially inspired by the world of insects. The trademark scissor opening doors are an essential Lamborghini feature. To help keep the weight down the bodywork of the Lamborghini Insecta is formed from carbon fibre. Called the Insecta, the radical concept’s design elements were borrowed from bugs instead of bovines. Combining organic shapes with Lamborghini’s trademark geometric angles, the Insecta concept integrates themes culled from the body armour observed on certain species of insects.

Lamborghini Reventon The Most Exclusive Supercar In The World

Lamborghini Reventon is one of the most exclusive supercars in the world. The price for the exclusive Lamborghini Reventon is 1.1 Million Euro (without taxes).The Italian carmaker has been strengthened by an even more exclusive, seven figure ultra supercar, the Reventon.
As a Supercar, Exclusive Lamborghini Reventon powered by 6.5 liter V12 engine with six-speed sequential manual transmission. The V12 engine producing 640 horsepower. Exclusive Lamborghini Reventon has compression ratio of 11 : 1 and a displacement of 6496 cc (396.41 in3,) it generates 670 PS (493 kW) at 8,000 rpm. The maximum torque of 660 Nm (487 lb-ft) kicks in at 6,000 rpm.
The driver controls the gear shift of Exclusive Lamborghini Reventon, which is activated hydraulically via two steering wheel paddles.The driver controls the gear shift to select between Normal, Corsa and low adherence mode.
Two chains drive its four camshafts that, in turn, operate the 48 valves. Together with the three-phase adjustable intake manifold, the variable valve timing delivers a meaty torque build-up. Dry sump lubrication ensures that the hi-tech power unit has a constant supply of oil, even under heavy lateral acceleration. The absence of the oil sump means a low mounting position – benefitting the car’s outstanding handling characteristics.
The seats are rocked by a carbon shell, and are not designed for larger frames. Rated as a piece of waterfront property, the Lamborghini Reventon is definitely elite status of a manufacturer for the empire to maintain. The glossy carbon fiber, Alcantara / leather interior is tight but chic, and even if the Exclusive Reventon logo embroidered on the door is a bit ‘large, many other details make up the offending piece of surf . Including the limited-edition plaque on my machine to test pre-production, reading 0 / 20.

2016 Lamborghini Madura Concept By Slavche Tanevsky More Efficient and Nature-friendly

Slavche Tanevsky, a student at the Munich University of Applied Sciences, has created this futuristic Lamborghini design concept. The  2016 Lamborghini Madura Concept is named after the Madura island in Indonesia, which is famous for bull races.
The Madura is a proposal for the first hybrid Lamborghini scheduled for 2016. Doing a car more efficient and nature-friendly. The suave looking model is said to be environment friendly, which has the electric engine hidden under a curved front hood, a slender body inspired by Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago and spoilers that jut out of side panels that connect laser beams, which is said to be symbolic for the electric drive system.
The front is very sleek and aerodynamic. It consists of the bonnet, with electric engine underneath, and spoiler with blades between for more depth of the design, and better cW result. The headlights are very thin and horizontally oriented to emphasize the cars  width. The tail is analog to the front. There is again play with more bodies and blades in between. They intersect by overlapping or flowing parallel. The spoilers as special features, grow out of the side panels and are connected with laser beams when braking, as a symbol for the electric drive.

An original design for the concept-car Lamborghini Ankonian, inspired by designer Slavche Tanevsky. A couple of days back, we had a look at the Lamborghini Madura concept, and now there’s a more aggressive concept from designer Slavche Tanevsky in the form of the Lamborghini Ankonian concept. The mid-engined supercar has a narrow and rather complex-looking body, with a garnishing of GT proportions. The concept was named after a bull type famous for black hair, and since the designer had some help from professional designers at Lamborghini and Audi, the finished model has impressive looks. Designer Slavche Tanevsky must be really in love with supercars as well as all the curves they offer, hence coming up with the Lamborghini Ankonian concept which boasts an extremely aggressive design, making us wonder whether it has stealth features and is undetectable by radars.

The engine side cooling intakes are expandable based on the surface flexibility of the carbon fiber sheets. A new Lamborghini flagship can be expected within the upcoming four years and designers like Emil Baddal are helping the Sant’Agata Bolognese engineers with ideas for a new look of the Sporty Futuristic Lamborghini X Concept. The sleek, exotic  designs of the Lamborghini failed to excite Iranian designer, Emil Baddal, and he ended up designing his own version of how a Lamborghini should look like. These are some pretty darn sexy and futuristic
designs, and the folks at Lamborghini might wanna check Emil’s resume sometime soon.

CEO and President of Automobili Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann, announced that the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will go into production. A technological demonstrator, revealed a year ago at the Paris Motor Show, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento represents the future of super sports cars in line with the Lamborghini Manifesto: according to this, development focuses on handling and acceleration, with lightweight design an increasing priority – now and even more so in years to come.
Not since the revolutionary carbon fiber prototype car, the Lamborghini Countach Evoluzione in 1986, has a super sports car brand produced a car weighing less than 1000 kg.
With the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, Lamborghini’s Research & Development engineers have fine-tuned a cutting-edge package. Beginning with its pure, radical design, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is the perfect blend between an extremely light weight 999 kg body; a drive train taken directly from motorsport; a power output of 570 HP; a highly responsive V10 engine and superior handling stability guaranteed by Lamborghini’s 4 wheel drive system. An exceptional power-to-weight ratio of just 1.75 kg per horsepower guarantees unrivalled performance levels; the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento goes from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. These values are possible due to the use of a carbon fiber monocoque made of Forged Composite and extensive use of carbon fiber throughout the super sport car, illustrating Lamborghini’s international leadership in composite materials technologies.
Stephan Winkelmann announced : “The excellent feedback and the numerous requests we’ve had from our customers have really convinced us to embark on the challenge of producing a car with unique characteristics. We are proud that what a year ago was just a ‘technology demonstrator’ of future super sports cars, even though in working order, will become a small series reality. Only twenty units of the new Lamborghini Sesto Elemento super sports car will be produced, and will be destined only for track use. We’re planning to deliver the first cars at the beginning of 2013.”

The original Lamborghini LM00X was a monstrous machine with a V12 and enough power to pull out stumps. Yet, this new 2012 Lamborghini LM00X version will take things down a notch, but not very far. 2012 Lamborghini LM00X will use a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 from the Audi A7 and we imagine that the power output will be around 550 horses and hit 62 mph in less than four seconds. The Lamborghini LM00X SUV will have a 4×4 traction system.

215 Racing Inc/Mostro Di-Potenza is proud to announce the exclusive rights to build the Lamborghini Indomable Concept at May 09, 2011. This supercar design was created by Daniel Chinchilla under the Masters Program sponsored by Lamborghini. The Lamborghini Indomable Concept will be renamed The Lamborghini SF22. This name comes from the design influence of the F22 fighter jet, and is incorporated in the Lamborghini car. The SF stands for Street Fighter.
Lamborghini Indomable Concept is a 2000HP mid-engine supercar powered by a twin-turbo 572 GM engine. This engine mated with 6 speed billet sequential transmission. The other feature include Carbon fiber/ Kevlar blend composite body, a full touch screen cockpit , Airspeed adjustable intercoolers and wing/speed brake.
The huge front intake funnels ram air serves to cool the huge 14″ Disc and 6 piston Brake calipers. The rear tail lights double as an airfoil that have functions to help disrupt airflow to assist in reducing drag.
Daniel Chinchilla, The Lamborghini Indomable Concept‘s Designer modified the design to get away from the Lamborghini feel of the car but was able to maintain the Italian styling.
The Lamborghini Indomable Concept will be produced in the Philadelphia, PA area, at a production rate of 2 per month and only 50 unit of these cars will be produced. 215 Racing is currently accepting Preliminary Sale Contracts for the Purchase of the car for mid- 2012.

Nissan unveiled the first details on their facelift version for the X-Trail SUV. In Japan the new model will go on sale on July 16th, with prices ranging from 2,239,650 yen to 3,139,500 yen.


The 2011 X-Trail comes with a redesigned front grille, front bumper, and headlights. These new features allow the front of the X-Trail to look a bit more bulky yet with a nice rounded finish that was absent in the previous model. On the interior Nissan added large-size meters for better driver visibility, a vehicle information display system, and a glove compartment with heat-retention and refrigerator functions.


A new addition to the line-up is the new X-TRAIL 20GT model. It features a new 2-liter "M9R" Clean Diesel engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission (with manual shift mode).

A new system available in the 4WD models is the Advanced Hill Descent Control system. This system enables the driver to set his or her desired driving speed within the range from 4km/h to 15km/h, depending on the degree of hill grade.


Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced the release of the new revised X-TRAIL and the addition of a 6-speed automatic transmission model to the Clean Diesel "X-TRAIL 20GT." Both go on sale July 16th at Nissan dealers nationwide.

The latest refinements to X-TRAIL focus on the exterior, interior and the addition of a new "20GT" Clean Diesel 6-speed automatic transmission model. On the exterior, the front grille, front bumper and headlights have been redesigned to give an even bolder and sportier front-end look. Also, the combination taillights have been changed to LED, improving visibility from following vehicles in bad weather.


In the interior, large-size meters have been adopted for better driver visibility and a vehicle information display system is newly provided to display moment fuel consumption, upcoming maintenance schedules and various other information. In addition, a glove compartment with heat-retention and refrigerator functions is standard on all models.

The versatile utility that only the X-TRAIL can deliver has been further enhanced with the addition of an "Advanced Hill Descent Control" (fitted with a speed-setting function), which can set the desired driving speed suited to road surface conditions, the degree of hill grade or other situations. It has been adopted on 4WD models (except for manual transmission models).

Spesifikasi Ford Mustang 2011




Ford has barely granted adequate time for its updated 2010 Mustang to shine in its own model year before launching a new 2011 model this spring.Model-year tomfoolery aside, the latest Mustang GT signals the return of the “5.0” badge. And nitpickers and Mercedes-Benz AMG “6.3” owners both should take note: This time it’s a legitimate 5.0 liters under the hood, rounded up from 4951 cubic centimeters, unlike the old Windsor V-8 (used intermittently from 1968 to 1995), which was in fact a 4.9-liter (4942cc) engine. More importantly, the output figures of 412 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque represent gains of 97 and 65, respectively, versus the 2010 model, enough to instantly erase the power deficit that the GT formerly ceded to its resurrected rivals, the 426-hp Chevrolet Camaro SS and the Dodge Challenger (in both 376-hp R/T and 425-hp SRT8 trim).

Ford heaped a lot of attention on the base Mustang, too, which at long last has ditched its ancient iron-block, 4.0-liter V-6 for a new version of Ford’s thoroughly modern DOHC, 3.7-liter V-6. With 305 horsepower, only 10 less than last year’s GT, this more affordable Mustang is no longer a car for poseurs and tanning-salon employees.


But back to the GT engine, which is officially labeled the 5.0-liter Ti-VCT DOHC V-8, though we prefer its unofficial code name, Coyote. It’s all-new, if you don’t count the bore-center spacing shared with the “modular” 4.6-liter V-8 that powers the 2010 Mustang GT. The reason for that is twofold: It allowed Ford to use its existing manufacturing infrastructure, and it made it easier to stick to a compressed development timeline. Early alternatives—a variant of the forthcoming 6.2-liter truck engine and even the 5.0-liter Jaguar V-8—were considered before Ford chose the Coyote in May 2007. To meet the production deadline of January, Mike Harrison, the V-8 program manager, had to cut 12 months from the normal development schedule, which meant eliminating an entire prototype phase.

Aside from a few common nuts and bolts, nothing from the 4.6-liter carries over to the new 5.0. The larger displacement was achieved by increasing bore and stroke to 92.2 by 92.7 millimeters, up from 90.2 by 90.0mm. The compression ratio has leaped to 11.0:1, from 9.8. Most of the design work on the Coyote focused on airflow. It was such a priority that cylinder heads from the Shelby GT500 that might have been used were rejected because they didn’t flow well enough. The Coyote design moves the intake camshafts as far to the outside of the vee as possible to make room for a straight, smooth passage from the intake manifold. The intake valve’s diameter has been increased by 3.2mm, and a second exhaust valve was added, so there are now four valves per cylinder.


Plus, there is variable valve timing on both the intake- and exhaust-valve cams. Ford uses a cam-torque-actuated system, and each of the cam adjusters, located within the cam sprocket, has three lobes surrounded by oil. Solenoids control the flow of oil into the adjusters, and the size of the oil pocket on either side of each lobe is pumped up or reduced by using the energy from the natural fluctuations in cam torque as the valves open and close. This makes the cams move relative to the motion from the timing chain. Compared with systems where oil pressure is the motive force, Ford says this arrangement is faster and more efficient, and it doesn’t require a bigger pump.

The output of 412 horsepower at 6500 rpm and 390 pound-feet of torque at 4250 rpm (that’s with premium fuel; regular unleaded drops the figures to 402 horses and 377 pound-feet) is slightly less than the 426 horsepower in the Camaro SS and the Challenger SRT8’s 425. The Mustang GT wins in specific output, though, at 83 horsepower per liter compared with 64 and 70 horses per liter for the Chevy and the Dodge, respectively. The higher-tech and more expensive V-8 in the Lexus IS F manages only one better than the Coyote on this scale. And we remind you that the last Mustang GT we tested was 300 pounds lighter than the Camaro SS. Ford claims the new engine is only about 15 pounds heavier than the 4.6, so the GT’s power-to-weight ratio should be best in class.

Should the need for more power arise, Ford has future-proofed the Coyote engine for applications such as supercharging and direct injection. There are four-bolt mains with side bolts through the block, and the bolt sizes have been increased one millimeter here as well as on the cylinder head. The main-bearing bulkhead width increases two millimeters.


As with the V-8, attention to the V-6 engine focuses on airflow. This is essentially the same 3.7-liter found in the Lincoln MKS and MKT, with a few key changes. A redesigned cylinder head increases compression to 10.5:1, from 10.3. Variable valve timing, which is now on the exhaust valves, uses the cam-torque system as in the V-8, and intake-valve lift is increased. A new exhaust manifold completes the list of airflow improvements. To adapt the engine to a rear-wheel-drive layout, Ford engineers had to design a tube molded into the lower intake that moves the coolant plumbing from the thermostat housing at the rear of the engine to a new water-pump location up front.

The result is 305 horsepower at 6500 rpm and 280 pound-feet of torque at 4250 rpm (when using regular unleaded)—30 more horsepower than the premium-fuel number for the MKS. More importantly, it’s a jump of 95 horsepower and 40 pound-feet from the old 4.0-liter, with fuel-efficiency increases to boot. Ford predicts ratings of 18 to 19 mpg city and 29 to 30 mpg highway, depending on transmission choice, up from 16 to 18 city and 24 to 26 highway.

The five-seat CX-7 is a family hauler that doesn't look or drive like one. It's a great choice for families who want zippy performance at an affordable price. For 2010, the CX-7 boasts new styling and a new base engine -- the same 2.5-liter powerplant used in the Mazda5 and Mazda3. The four-cylinder engine makes 161 horsepower and 161 pound-feet of torque, which means it makes less power than the SUV's previous turbocharged engine, but will achieve better fuel economy.



The 2010 CX-7's base price is $22,300, a decrease of $2,350 compared to the 2009 base model. While the price is still a bit higher than the Honda's and Toyota's, it's a step in the right direction. Since the CX-7 is substantially refreshed and costs less than last year, it may make more sense to wait for this 2010 model than to buy a 2009 CX-7.
